One of the most coveted awards of the ACM’s, which airs in less than two weeks, is not determined by some super secret panel of judges. “Entertainer of the Year” is chosen by fans of the nominees and many artists are making videos asking for their fans support.
Luke Bryan is nominated for the big award, along with three other awards, and he is asking for support in a heart-warming video dedicated to his fans.
The video shows how Bryan’s fans connect to his music, featuring fans of all ages in photos and singing and dancing along to his music in videos posted online, all set to his hit song “That’s My Kind of Night.”
“You make it fun! You’re the reason I’m here. You motivate me. We’ve made this moment together,” Bryan writes.
In addition to Entertainer of the Year, Bryan is up for Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year (for “Drink a Beer”) and Vocal Event of the Year (for “This Is How We Roll” with Florida Georgia Line) — and he’s already won the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award. Bryan will also be co-hosting the evening’s events alongside Blake Shelton, and he’ll perform during the ceremony as well.
