"Come Back To Me" is from Keith Urban's 2013 Fuse album.
Keith Urban‘s video for “Come Back to Me” is a sort of “thank you” card to his fans.
“I wanna say a massive thank you to all of you that made Fuse the most extraordinary ride,” Urban says.
“As we toured around the last couple years, you guys always asked if we’d ever shoot a video for “Come Back to Me,” and well, we did, and here it is … and it’s all yours!!!”
“Come Back to Me” is a lovelorn post-break up song. It’s a melancholy affair where Urban, playing his guitar amid a bare room, is haunted by memories of his ex. Screens around him project their trips to the beach and happy times.
The song was written by Brandy Clark, Shane McAnally and Trevor Rosen, and has clearly been a fan favorite, but it doesn’t look like Urban plans on releasing it to radio. He has already released six singles from Fuse, including his recent No. 1, “Raise ‘Em Up,” with Eric Church, but is now focusing on a new set of tunes.
“I’m sort of doing the preliminary work of figuring out what the next record is,” Urban says. “It’s reaching out and talking with people about working with them in the studio, different writers. It’s just lots of ideas and tinkering right now.”
