Trace Adkins is hosting a weekly radio show, The Throwback Thirty, on SiriusXM’s Y2Kountry channel.
On The Throwback Thirty, which debuted on March 15, Adkins will count down Billboard‘s Top 30 songs from the same week in various years of the 2000s.
A new show will debut each Sunday at 10AM ET on Y2Kountry, available on any SiriusXM-connected device or online at SiriusXM.com, and then replay at various times throughout the week. The Throwback Thirty will also be available on demand through the SiriusXM website and smartphone app.
Trace Adkins is perfect for the show because he is the ideal artist that will be played on the Throwback Thirty. He is known for his hits “Every Light in the House,” “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing,” “I’m Tryin’” and “You’re Gonna Miss This,” among others which came out in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
Trace Adkins is not the only country star with his or her own radio show. Eric Church, Steve Earle, Elizabeth Cook, and Martina McBride, all host country radio shows on SiriusXM.
