The Swon Brothers' admit that Faith has a huge part in their life and success.
The Swon Brothers are over the moon about the release of their first album with famed record label Arista. The boys grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, and like fellow musician and Oklahoma-native Carrie Underwood, Faith was a large part of their upbringing.
“I would say our faith is the number one thing in our life 100 percent,” Colton Swon told FOX411. “It’s just the way we were raised and that will never change.”
Brother Zach Swon went on to say “I don’t think that’s something new to country music, it started with Hank Williams in ‘I Saw the Light’ and you know, we’re not the first or last to have songs with that message it’s just part of who we are.”
With all the new fame in their life since their appearance on the television show “The Voice”, the brothers may find it difficult to keep their faith in the show business world. When asked whether this has been a problem, the brothers are full of confidence in their beliefs.
“I think definitely your faith can be challenged at any point in your life no matter what you’re doing,” said Colton. “But I think there’s just a lot to be said about knowing who you are and where your roots are and I think if you stick with those you’ll be just find no matter what you’re doing.”
Earlier this week, the Swon Brothers celebrated the release of their self-titled debut album with TV appearances, performances, countless interviews and a whole lot of support from some new famous friends that are in their corner, such as Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton who tweeted about the Brothers’ release.
“I mean, we’re getting to live our dreams, and it’s nice when you have people like that that will help support you,” Colton said.
