While most of us were relaxing with family and friends over the holidays, Hunter Hayes was hard at work on making some new music!
“I just got a little bit of time to be creative in my little studio at home,” Hayes tells ABC News Radio. ”Got some writers that are coming out to hang.”
It’s been a busy year for Hayes; he released a new album, Storyline, and hit the road for his Tattoo (Your Name) Tour, which took him all across the country. He admits it’s sometimes hard for him to slow down.
“I’m always wanting to be on the road,” he says with a laugh, “so for me to be away from that for a minute, make me miss it even more, is probably a good thing even though I don’t want to admit that.”
Hunter Hayes’ 2015 is already off to a promising start. Hayes is nominated for a Grammy for “Best Country Solo Performance”, for his song ‘Invisible.’
“To be nominated for a Grammy is one of the most exciting things that can happen in your career,” Hayes says. “For ‘Invisible’ to be nominated is so special for me and my co-writers and the phenomenal team who recorded this record. This is one of the happiest days of my career so far.”
