No one can deny that Miranda’s most recent “Platinum Tour” was a HUGE success. The Grammy winner thrilled audiences across the country, and the critics raved about her performances with The Boston Globe saying, “Lambert busted out of the gate like a woman possessed and didn’t take her foot off the pedal for 85 minutes, much to the delight of a packed amphitheatre happy to hold on for the ride.” The Philadelphia Inquirer proclaimed “Miranda Lambert works the same thematic turf about growing up and growing older in rural America as her (almost entirely male) competitors atop the country charts. She just does it way better than they do.”
Miranda Lambert will kick off The Certified Platinum Tour in January 2015. The singer, currently up nine awards from the Country Music Association, including entertainer of the year, will play nearly 30 cities with Justin Moore as support.
Danielle Bradbery and RaeLynn, two singers who competed on The Voice for Lambert’s husband, Blake Shelton, will open some dates on the tour, as will Sunny Sweeney and Ashley Monroe, one of Lambert’s collaborators in the Pistol Annies.
