Kenny Chesney‘s new music video for his latest single “Wild Child”, which released today (Feb. 11), is an anthem for all the gypsy-spirited women out there and is sure to be one that will be watched again and again.
“To me, a girl who is so alive, so in the moment, so curious and hungry for life … there’s nothing like her,” says Chesney, who wrote “Wild Child” with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.
“You can’t tie ’em down. So free … and so intense because of it. Nothing is more attractive. To me, that makes women really stand out. Whether they want to live in the mountains, become a doctor, play music in Hawaii or surf around the world, whatever their passion is, that’s what drives them – and man, it’s an amazing thing.”
The nearly four-minute video follows Chesney’s friend, songwriter Gretchen Rhodes, in Hawaii as she explores the land. We see Rhodes skateboarding down a hill, surfing at the beach and wandering throughout a field in Hawaii with wild horses.
The video was premiered via USA Today and you can see it HERE.
