The snide comments flooded in after the singer Facebook posted a few causal snapshots of herself enjoying a cup of coffee and getting ready for yoga in her Calia by Carrie Underwood workout attire. Seriously, no one is immune to nastiness via the internet.
Instead of simply ignoring the harsh comments and ugly criticism, Nettles posted another makeup-free picture of her face with this message: “Another scandalous picture of me without makeup in the morning. Apparently some folks who only see me on tv were quite taken aback yesterday. (And some were downright rude, as only social media can allow;-). You are all beautiful and I’d challenge you all to post your own no make-up pics. Be comfy in your own skin. It’s all we got ladies!”
Jennifer’s clever comeback has spawned over 167,000 Facebook Likes and 3,100 Shares with numerous fans posting pictures of their own natural beauty! What a refreshing way to turn negativity into something positive!
