Happy news! Jennifer Nettles, who released her debut solo album That Girl last year, is back in the studio working on her sophomore solo album!
“Right now we’re both doing our solo stuff,” Jennifer Nettles told Entertainment Weekly last week at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala in regards to herself and Sugarland counterpart Kristian Bush. “I’m in the studio right now doing another solo record, and Kristian just put one out, so we’re having fun doing that. Go out and see both—twice as nice, baby!”
Earlier this year, the country star appeared on Broadway as Chicago’s Roxie Hart. No release date has been set for the songbird’s new album, but we do have confirmation that she’s in the studio with some fierce musical fuel…
