Eric Church is up for four awards this year: Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song (“Give Me Back My Hometown”), Best Country Duo/Group Performance (“Raise ‘Em Up” with Keith Urban) and Best Country Album (The Outsiders).
Besides being nominated for so many awards, Church is also receiving another honor. Five performers for the 2015 Grammy Awards have been announced, and Eric Church is one of them!
The four-time nominee will take the stage on Feb. 8 during the live broadcast. Church will be performing at the Grammys for the first time. It could be a big night for the “Talladega” singer.
He joins AC/DC, Madonna, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran as the first artists to be revealed for the 57th annual show, taking place Feb. 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
In related news, Church broke the attendance record at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Saturday (Jan. 10) with 18,411 fans packed in to catch the hometown stop of The Outsiders World Tour. Looks like The Grammys could be his next big show!
