Back in February Eric Church and his wife Katherine welcomed their second child together, Tennessee Hawkins Church or “Hawk” as they like to call the little guy.
“It’s funny, my 2-month-old is now startin’ to sleep pretty good, and my 3-year-old is startin’ to wake up two or three times a night,” Church muses.
“They’re teamin’ up.”
Transitioning from one to two can be difficult both for parents and the older sibling, but Church says his oldest, Boone, is doing alright since little Hawk was born in February.
“Any time you introduce a new kid — the oldest had a little bit of a problem when he had all the attention and all of a sudden he doesn’t have all the attention, but he’s doin’ a good job,” Church explains.
Eric and Katherine married in January 2008 in North Carolina.
Church was nominated for three ACM Awards at the 50th annual ceremony this year, including Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year (“Give Me Back My Hometown”) and Album of the Year (The Outsiders).
