Eric Church Crashes Charlie Daniels’ Party! [WATCH]

Eric Church surprised thousands when he climbed up on stage with the infamous Charlie Daniels. Watch the full performance here!

The Volunteer Jam is a benefit concert that was started by Charlie Daniels way back in 1974. It started as a humble live recording that turned into an annual event to benefit the Journey Home Project, which was founded by Charlie himself. This year, the event was held at ¬†Nashville’s epic Bridgestone arena and along with dozens of other artists, Eric Church showed up to pay homage to America.

Eric Church surprised the crowd when he climbed up on stage unannounced to perform Daniels’ 1980 hit “In America.” The crowd of course went ballistic and sang along to the band of all stars. Listen and watch the surprise performance below!

The night included a plethora of epic performances, mainly from the “southern rock” persuasion. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alabama, Blackberry Smoke, , Travis Tritt, Wynona, and Ted Nugent were only a few of the stars that showed up.

With the help of Eric Church, the night was a huge captivating success that kept the crowd on their feet until the very end. After the show, Charlie announced that the event already is scheduled to carry on in 2016.
