Even is you're not in Nashville, you can still participate in Dierks Bentley's 'Miles and Music for Kids' charity push!
Want to help country artist Dierks Bentley support the patients at Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital via his 10th annual Miles and Music for Kids fundraiser? Well, it’s easy and quite fashionable! Simply purchase a beautiful handmade necklace inspired by the title track off of Bentley’s eighth studio album. The piece features a gold bar with the word “Riser” expertly stamped into the metal and also includes a heartfelt note from the musician in the packaging.
“We are on a journey,” the message reads. “The endless cycle of life, love, loss, faith, freedom, and family. We learn from our past to define our future. Everyone has a defining moment in their life, a breakthrough moment, it’s the moment when you choose to be a riser.”
Just 100 necklaces are being made by an artist in Maine at $79 a pop— so act fast. All proceeds will go to Bentley’s important cause.
Miles and Music for Kids features a celebrity motorcycle ride and concert, which is set to hit Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on November 1st. The 2015 talent lineup includes Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, Canaan Smith, the Cadillac Three, Brooke Eden, and others. The event is sold out, but a few walk up rider passes will be available on the event date.
Since its start, the benefit has raised more than $3 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals around the country. Please consider opening your wallet and help give wings to some deserving young ‘Risers!’
