Eric Church announces new furniture line, Highway to Home.

Eric Church is joining the ranks of Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood, and Carrie Underwood as a “musicianpreneur”, meaning he is getting into a business that has nothing to do with singing and writing songs. Church will introduce a home furniture collection.

The singer’s Highway to Home furniture line is in development and will launch later this year through a licensing deal with North Carolina-based furniture company Pulaski Furniture.

The leap to the new business is not random, Church’s father Ken is a long time executive in the furniture world.

“Highway to Home is a natural extension of my family heritage,” Church posted on Facebook.

”My dad was in the industry. My first job was in a furniture plant, so yes, it is in my blood. Staying connected with my roots has always been important to me … my history and connection runs deep in this business.”

The furniture designs are meant to reflect the life experiences of Church as he travels from venue to venue.

“Highway to Home is about the journey home — the ultimate destination,” said Page Wilson, Pulaski president.

“This is not necessarily about Eric’s songs or performances, but instead focused on the adventures and experiences of a traveling musician through the eyes of a creative writer as he travels the world from show to show and home again.”

Specific pricing was not available, but officials said the line will fall in its middle price points.

Eric Church will designate a portion of the proceeds from sales of the collection to be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation through his Chief Cares foundations.
