Cole Swindell is getting all kinds of patriotic in his ACM video asking for his fans to vote for him for New Artist of the Year. It’s always fun to see artists show their funny side and Cole aces it with this throwback to wartime era complete with Uncle Sam and Rosie the Riveter.
Cole appears as a combination of Top Gun Tom Cruise and WWll solider as he says “My name is Cole Swindell, and I stand here today in front of you with great honor and pride, I am humbled to be an ACM New Artist of the Year nominee. And I, Cole Swindell, need your help.”
Swindell is up against Thomas Rhett and Sam Hunt for the award. Fans can vote once per day through 8PM ET on April 19 — the start of the 2015 ACM Awards broadcast — at VoteACM.com. The winner will be announced that night during the show.
All three New Artist of the Year nominees will perform during the ceremony. Swindell is also set to perform at the Party for a Cause on Saturday (April 18).
The 2015 ACM Awards will air live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on April 19 at 8PM ET on CBS.
