Eric Church and legendary country rocker Hank Williams, Jr. will open the three-hour television event with popular CMA Awards hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood presiding over the evening for the eighth consecutive year. “Tangled Up” singer Thomas Rhett and standout “Uma Thurman” rock band Fall Out Boy are also slated to hit the main stage and dazzle the audience.
Going into the highly anticipated night, Miranda Lambert leads this batch of talented ladies— having clinched four nominations total, Kacey Musgraves and Maddie & Tae are in the running for three awards each, while Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini each have two nods. Winners of each category will be determined in a final round of voting by eligible voting members of the Country Music Association. See the full list of categories and nominations here.
The 49th Annual CMA Awards will broadcast live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 4th at 7 PM CT on ABC.
