Clint Black hasn’t released a new album in over a decade, but now the iconic singer is back. The wildly successful songwriter, singer, and producer has now released his tenth studio album, On Purpose. The new 14 song album was completely written and produced by Clint himself in his home studio in Nashville, and was released on Friday September 25th under Thirty Tigers Records.

On Purpose features collaborations with the popular duo Big and Rich on the “Beer” song, as well as Clint’s wife Lisa Hartman Black on the duet “You Still Get to Me.” All 14 songs are very well produced and show off Mr. Black’s seasoned songwriting chops. The tracks range from love songs, to drinking songs, and even slightly political songs such as track number eight, “Still Calling It News.”

Clint hasn’t named any “singles” from the record yet but has hinted that he’ll be focusing on the duet “You Still Get to Me.” He’s currently on the promotion path and you’ll likely see his face a lot more often. He’s also currently touring to support the album and is moving through Texas right now.
