Carrie Underwood, who just released her highly anticipated Storyteller album on Friday, will launch a brand new arena tour in 2016 dubbed The Storyteller Tour: Stories in the Round. The award-winning Oklahoma native will kick off her tour on January 30th in Jacksonville, Florida and in all will play 40 arenas across North America.
“I can’t wait to play new music from Storyteller for the fans,” shares Underwood in an official statement. “I am so blessed to have this career and get to do to the things I do, but there is nothing like that moment when I get to step onto the stage to sing and all the fans are singing along with me.”
Underwood’s tour format will be “in the round,” meaning the stage will be placed in the center of the arena floor. This unique orientation creates a 360-degree setting, which allows fans on all sides of the arena to get a very intimate concert experience.
Besides enjoying the exquisite vocals of Carrie Underwood, Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers are the tour’s special guests!. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 6th at 10 AM local time here. If you want a jump on nabbing your tickets, fans who purchase Storyteller via http://www.carrieunderwood.fm score a special code for early access to tour tickets.
Even better, you can enjoy a great performance and help out a cause close to the singer’s heart at the same time. The popular songbird has arranged for $1 from each ticket sold in connection to the U.S. leg of the tour to be donated to the C.A.T.S Foundation. This worthy cause supports education and literacy programs in Underwood’s hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma.
