The track, penned by Jaren Johnston, Ashley Gorley, and Ross Copperman, is the first single off Currington’s sixth studio album, Summer Forever, which drops tomorrow!
With the meteoric rise of “Don’t It,” Currington joins an exclusive club of country music artists who have achieved ten No.1 singles. Currington’s second single off Summer Forever, “Drinkin’ Town With A Football Problem”, debuted on country radio today. The fall anthem, written by Vanessa Olivarez, Elizabeth Elkins, and country group The Henningsens, captures the buzzy energy of football season in a small town.
Currington will celebrate the release of Summer Forever with performances on The Today Show tomorrow morning and Fox & Friends “All-American Summer Concert Series” on June 12. On June 5, the popular crooner will kick off the cross-country Shotgun Rider Tour with Tim McGraw in Little Rock, AR.
