Alan Jackson is currently preparing to release his fifteenth studio album, Angels and Alcohol. The new album is set to release on July 17th, but on Friday, Alan surprised his fans with the release of the first single, “Jim and Jack and Hank.”
The new song has that original Alan Jackson feel that we have grown to love during his first fourteen albums. With some killer slide guitar parts, and a grooving country shuffle, this song begs you to dance. Check out the very latest from Alan Jackson below!
Judging from this first single, Jackson is keeping in touch with his traditional sound and keeping everyone dancing as usual.
Jackson is working a lot recently and also performed on the same night he released the new single, at the 2015 CMT Festival at LP Field. To a crowd of thousands, Alan played new music and the classics, including “Pop-a-Top,” in tribute to the late Jim Ed Brown.
