We’re only a few days into the spring season, so what could be more perfect than seeing Luke Bryan’s Spring Break … Checkin’ Out dominate Billboard’s country albums chart? This marks the release of his last-ever Spring Break album.
With sales at nearly 89,000, the latest album was his second consecutive Spring Break album to debut at No. 1. The album also hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Top 200 list.
Another major win for the Bryan camp, Spring Break … The Set List: The Complete Spring Break Collection ZinePak swooped in at No. 5.

As part of Bryan’s double-pronged historic feat on Top Country Albums (which originated more than 51 years ago, in the Billboard issue dated Jan. 11, 1964), he scores his fifth No. 1. He previously led with the EP Spring Break 6… Like We Ain’t Ever (March 29, 2014); Crash My Party (for 13 weeks, beginning Aug. 31, 2013); Spring Break… Here to Party (two weeks, March 2013); and Tailgates & Tanlines (four weeks, 2011).
Combined sales from Bryan’s seven Spring Break releases now exceed 1.2 million.
Luke Bryan celebrated the release of his last Spring Break album with two concerts at Spinnaker Beach Club in Panama City Beach, Florida. Record crowds of over 400,000 fans turned out for the free shows. Check out the video footage below.
